Campus Clubs headquarters was established in the spring of 1994. Burdened by the many needs in the inner city communities, we formed a committee to discuss those present needs. One of the problems discovered was a lack of leadership in the local communities. As a result, a variety of cultural and environmental factors impacted the health of inner city neighborhoods. After a season of planning, we opened our doors in the fall of that year. To our dismay, only three young men showed up. However, that following week 30 students participated, and our enrollment has continued to grow. We believe that because of our efforts, many young people in the inner city community have become productive and responsible adults.
