Now Available! Computer lab sessions for senior adults in our brand new learning center Monday - Friday, 10am - 12pm. All the topics and software that will be covered are listed below.

E-mail setup Seniors who would like to set up an e-mail account will be walked through a standard set up via yahoo.com Once the account is created seniors will learn how to manage:

spam filters

virus filters

inboxes

outboxes

drafts

Seniors will also be able to walk through linking their e-mail accounts with Microsoft Outlook 2007, in which they will also learn how to set up a monthly calendar and address book.

Microsoft Word 2007 Seniors will learn how to format text fonts, size, and all other characteristics. Seniors will also learn how to format page settings such as spacing, alignment, and all other settings.

Microsoft Excel 2007 Seniors will learn how to acquire various spread sheet templates off the internet, such as accounting to assist with managing bills and etc. Seniors will also learn how to edit the templates to fit their specific needs.

Computer Maintenance Seniors will learn how to manage hard drive space and performance, along with internet security and computer security.

Internet Exploration Seniors will learn how to maximize all the capabilities of the internet that best suit their interest, whether it is research, news, weather, shopping, or entertainment.
