Learning Center

The Campus Clubs Learning Center is located in the Christian Education building of Strong Tower Fellowship at 2193 Vineville Avenue. This location is strategic as we have targeted the Pleasant Hill area – these students are the future mothers, father, and leaders of Pleasant Hill, and can be instruments of change for the neighborhood.

Our Learning Center is over 20,000 square feet and is fully equipped to service over 100 children, with 7 classrooms, 2 computer labs, and a designated devotional room. The Campus Club office is also located in the Learning Center, providing opportunities for the staff to minister throughout the day to children as well as families.

The Benjamin Hawkins Computer Lab

Our first computer lab was established in memory of Benjamin Hawkins, Jay and Kathy’s 22-year old son who was killed in an automobile accident in June of 2004, shortly after graduating from the University of Georgia. A vibrant young man, Benjamin loved life, people, learning, and he loved God. In addition, an endowment fund has been created in conjunction with the Community Foundation of Central Georgia to honor Benjamin’s memory. The fund has been used to enable economically disadvantaged Campus Club kids to attend Christian camps and to sponsor children in the after-school program.

The Ed Walsh Academic Achievement Lab (EWAAL)

The Ed Walsh Academic Achievement Lab is an exciting space that enables so many of our students the opportunity to achieve academic success through access to state of the art technology. We have 24 new computers that connect our students to web-based supplemental education software. Elementary classes rotate into the lab every day to use educational programs. Middle School and High School students without internet access at home, utilize this lab for research projects.
